We repurposed an old Simonds Mill Bastard into this handsome cowboy bowie.  Decked with a copper guard and butt cap with a Sambar Stag handle.

Heat treated and quenched in light oil formula 2

Temper:  Single draw temper at 400 F

Handle:  Sambar Stag with Stabilized Persimmon wooden spacer

Copper guard and butt cap

Sheath:  Chocolate color vegetable tanned 8 oz. tooling leather with light brown inlays and hand-stitched white, waxed thread.
