We repurposed a Simonds Mill Bastard into this handsome mountain man style knife.  Decked with a nickel-silver guard and double elk tine handle.

Heat treated and quenched in light oil formula 2

Temper:  single draw – 400 F

Grind:  hollow grind

Tang:  hidden

Handle:  light Elk tine with dark Elk tine spacer

Decorative yellow/black/yellow handle spacers

Nickel-Silver guard and pin

Rope pattern hand file work

Sheath:  Light brown vegetable tanned 8 oz. tooling leather with hand-stitched white thread.
