We repurposed the remaining remnant of a Simonds Mill Bastard (used for a model 215) into this handsome companion knife.  Decked with a nickel-silver guard and light elk tine handle.

Heat treated and quenched in light oil formula 2

Temper:  single draw – 400 F

Grind:  hollow grind

Tang:  hidden

Handle:  light Elk tine with African Blackwood spacer

Decorative yellow/black/yellow handle spacers

Nickel-Silver guard and pin

Sheath:  Light brown vegetable tanned 8 oz. tooling leather with hand-stitched white thread.
